Dual Enrollment Program

1. What is the Dual Enrollment Program? 

The Flawless Institut Dual Enrollment Program is a unique opportunity that allows senior high school students to simultaneously enroll in theoretical and hands-on beauty-related courses while completing their high school curriculum. 

2. Who is eligible to apply for the Dual Enrollment Program? 

This program is open to individuals interested in pursuing a career in the beauty industry, and currently enrolled in high school; at least in grade 10.  

3. What courses are offered in the Dual Enrollment Program? 

Our program covers a wide range of beauty-related courses including but not limited to skincare, makeup artistry, hair styling and barbering, nail technology, in addition to Business related courses such as business communication and customer service essentials. Students will gain practical experience alongside a solid theoretical foundation.  

4. How does the scheduling work for dual enrollment? 

Classes are designed to accommodate both theoretical learning and hands-on training. Schedules are flexible during regular school hours, allowing students to balance their high school commitments with practical sessions. Sessions are mainly held at our state-of-the-art facilities on Carmichael Road, upstairs in the Lickety Split plaza. From time to time there may be a need to host virtual sessions when face-to-face is not possible. 

5. Can I transfer credits from the Dual Enrollment Program to other institutions? 

No, credits earned within our dual enrollment program are not transferable to other schools. These credits are designed specifically for use within our institution's programs. 

Credits earned may contribute to your high school GPA, enhancing your academic record. 

Internal application of these credits allows for a seamless transition into our programs, streamlining your educational journey within our academic community. 

6. Are there any prerequisites for the Dual Enrollment Program? 

Students must possess a passion for the beauty industry and a willingness to learn are highly encouraged. Admissions will require a recommendation from the Guidance Counselor or Principal to ensure students are a good fit for the program and must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.00. Students must at least be enrolled in grade 10. 

7. What are the benefits of our Dual Enrollment Program 

Enhance job readiness and industry skills for senior students. Through hands-on training and exposure to real-world scenarios, students develop the soft skills and technical skills needed to excel in the competitive beauty industry. 

Dual enrollment course credits can be applied to any of our programs upon graduation, allowing them to be fast tracked through a program.  

Students are offered up to 70% tuition discount on the dual enrollment program. 

8. Is financial aid available for the Dual Enrollment Program? 

Flawless Institut offers various financial aid options, including tuition discounts, and payment plans. 

9. How do I apply for the Dual Enrollment Program? 

Click the link to complete the application form. Ensure you provide all required documents and details, then submit $25 application fee (non-refundable) along with the tuition for the term. Guidance Counselors may contact the office by telephone or email for additional assistance with enrolling a group of students. 

10. How much does this program cost? 

Aside from the mandatory application fee of $25, students pay $300 per term which includes two courses; one theoretical course and one practical.  Students are required to purchase all applicable training kit and resource materials for their program of choice. These may be available in-house at a discount to enrolled students or may be sourced independently.
